Decide on your strategy , set goals, identify obstacles and decide how to overcome them and set milestones.
It is important to not only focus on the obvious,or ultimate goal(s), but also to recognize when you have reached a milestone, and to be curious and interested to learn all you can about persons with whom you communicate, or you may lose out on valuable insights and possibly crucial information / benefits which may have been gained.
For example, in playing Networking Bingo today, I'm sure I had 'straight line' bingo long before anyone, but did not recognize this Milestone in my quest toward the final goal. Too bad for me, lost opportunity.
