The Four Main Stages of a Working Team -The leaning Tower of 'Pizza'

The Main Stages of a Working Team as experienced in the 'Leaning Tower of Pizza 'exercise, are:
1. Forming-where there was low intimacy, low contact. The group was still working as individuals without an organized focus.
2. Storming- There was high conflict, creativity and risk,  as leaders and innovators emerged.
3 Norming - Better managed group with established team work. There was relative calm and reduced conflict.
4. Performing - There was silence in this work phase as we focused on achieving the common goal, with the objective of building  the taller leaning "Tower of Pizza", which did not collapse prematurely!
I won't say which group won, but suffice it to say that the better team enjoyed the Cupcakes!

The real leaning tower of Pisa. We did a good replication using newspapers, tables, chairs, school bags, student, etc.
Thanks  Gerry Mac. You promised us cupcakes and you over- delivered!
